The location is perfect, right between Times Square and Central Park. There is a private parking garage just around the corner in the same building $72/night (not included in the hotel price). The rooms are old but clean. Out bathroom door didn't close. The room was right by the elevators, so it was very noisy at night. King size bed was comfortable. Our friends' safe and air conditioning didn't work, so they asked for service and it was fixed pretty quickly. Overall - OK for the price.

On the positive side:
the bed was very good and the room was cleaned nicely every day.
On the negative side:
The rooms in the hotel were in poor condition: some of the electrical plugs did not work, the coffee machine was missing components, so it was not possible to make coffee, the wall paper was falling out in some places, the painted walls were dirty, ...
It was clear that the personnel was under pressure due to the many problems. The tone to us as clients was rude and commanding.
The "breakfast area" was just a kiosk were a few - unhealthy - items could be bought, and there was no place were to seat for breakfast. - 3Good optionJovan - 6 Sept 2023

It is very central, but it is getting old. Additionally, the breakfast is very basic, and the staff attending to it is very rude. Other than that, everything is fine.

The location is good if that's what you want; for us, it wasn't the best choice, but it was a gift and....... The bed and sheets were very good, the rest, the carpets in the hallways, etc., as mentioned before.
