Pueblo Torviscas

Pueblo Torviscas is a delightful complex 50 metres from the sea and built in the style of an Andalucian Village nestled around the swimming pools. A lovely complex for families and couples looking for a comfortable base close to all amenities in the Torviscas area of Costa Adeje. A wide range of bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance together with ample shops. Close by are 2 beaches, the popular Torviscas beach that offer water sports and stretches right round to Fañabe the smaller more sheltered cove at Puerto Colon Close to the marina.
This complex is close to a bus stop with a car park nearby. Within easy walking distance are the local attractions such as the Aquapark and the twice a week market as well as the Sim Park.
The motorway is easily accessible leading northwards towards the capital city of Santa Cruz and westwards to the fabulous cliffs of Los Gigantes and the more circuitious route via Mount Teide ( the highest mountain in Spain) to the north of the island and such treasures as Loro parque in Puerto de la Cruz.
The reception is open 24 hours a day and provides the usual services, including money exchange, sale of excursions, car hire, book exchange, luggage room etc. The staff are multi-lingual and cover most European languages including English . WIFI is available on the complex and in the room at a charge , please ask receptions for details upon arrival.
On site are 2 restaurants, one located in the square and one on the poolside serving international menus and open on a daily basis for breakfast, lunch and evening meals . There is also a small supermarket on site and a laundrette.
The main pool is heated from November until April. There are plenty of sunbathing terraces with ample sun beds and umbrellas for your relaxation. A pool table and table tennis are also available at the poolside to add to your enjoyment

Rude nightime staff on front of desk.
    Tracy - 16 Feb 2024

On arrival 6th Feb was given 1 key. When questioning why I was told not worry 24 hour manned front desk.I was just a bit worried that this situation would happen with my friend.Sat 10th of Feb needed entry to my appartment N14 as my friend
who is suffering with cancer had fallen asleep .I didn't want to keep ringing the bell as it was after 12 o'clock..The man on the front was very rude telling me I had 4 minutes to bring the key back and that he had worked there for 20 years.I actually was taken aback by his attitude. Ive stayed in the Torviscas 3 times very recently and have had nothing but good things to say about all the staff.Very disappointed

Lovely apartment, nicely decorated and very clean. Even had a washing machine in the bathroom which was a welcome bonus.

Well equipped and very comfortable beds and room very spacious.

Excellent location with shops and restaurants galore.

Secure gate for entry to site and lockable bars on patio made us feel very safe. We even slept with patio doors open at night with barred doors locked .

Not the best of views although can just see marina and sea from one side of balcony. Didn't get sun either but as it was very hot during our stay thomis was ablessing as it meant our room was cool at night.

Had an old but very quiet and good remote control ceiling fan which was great.

Only down side was that we both had a cockroach crawl on us once each during our 9 night stay. But there was spray in the cupboard which I then used at night which definitely worked as we had a number of casualties lying on the floor in the mornings. Alas Tenerife has suffered with these for years but it only freaked us out on the night we were each visited and didn't even see them when out and about.

Oh a big thank you to the lovely man on reception for Sunset Harbour who was really friendly and helpful.

We will be back and would happily stay in the same resort and apartment. Been visiting Tenerife for 35 years and always loved Sunset Harbour and Pueblo Torviscas which are the privately owned apartments were lovely, and comfortable even without the air conditioning.

The sunbeds and terraces were also clean and very well organised. And it was nice and peaceful as they don't allow ball games or inflatables in the pools. Felt sad for a little baby though who had to forgo her blow up sheep rubber ring. Pool was also lovely and plenty warm enough despite the heating being turned off 2 days into our stay on 1st May.

    We will definitely be back.
