Situated right on the seashore in Cuba's Holguin province, this attractive resort hotel is only a short walk from Naranjo Bay National Park and the spectacular Guardalvaca Beach. Visitors can spend sunny afternoons lounging on the pristine, white-sand beach and watching the waves of the turquoise Caribbean Sea come rolling in, or participate in the hotel's various activity programmes such as walking and cycling tours, dance lessons, and horse shoe, table tennis and bocce tournaments.

    Just like everywhere in Cuba, maintenance is an issue. But what I respect very much is that staff is doing their best to help out and make you enjoy your holiday. Majority of people working here are extremely friendly, nice and helpful and it's not their fault that management doesn't seem to understand that investment in maintenance pays off. Food is good, gardens beautiful, beach really nice and I have to commend the entertainment staff cause even though I'm not a fan of resort type of entertainment, the guys here really make the effort and yes, I was entertained, especially by the dance group, who are actually great dancers and do it with passion.
    In short, A for the effort of the staff. C for the management.
