Unfriendly staff, especially the older woman who greeted us at the restaurant entrance (rude).
They squeezed four of us into a 12 m² room.
I have never seen mosquitoes in a room in Torremolinos. And when I complained at the reception, the girl told me that there are mosquitoes all over the world. At the very least, they should have devices in the rooms.
Moreover, there was only one socket in the entire room.
In short, horrible and we will not return. - 1Everything was bad.Juan - 5 Sept 2024
My experience was very bad, shabby room, a lot of mosquitoes, noise from the air conditioning, and if I turned it off, I could hear the machines from other air conditioners. We went with all-inclusive, but the snacks were few: nuts, bad-tasting chips, and olives. They took away the snacks very quickly. The combinations of whiskey, gin, etc., were very poor, and the soft drinks were from the tap; only the beer was acceptable. When I returned the room keys, they left the wristbands on us and told us we could use all the hotel services. At noon, we entered the dining room, and after sitting down, they made us pay for the meals, 18 € per person. I believe the hotel is to blame for leaving the wristbands on us and telling us we could use everything except the room; they never said we couldn't enter the dining room. The food was scarce, repetitive, and of low quality. I will not return to the Royal Costar Hotel in Torremolinos, nor do I recommend anyone to do so. My rating for this hotel is 00000 in everything. The pool is approximately 1.35 m deep; after two meters from the edge, it covers you. It's not a pool for those who don’t know how to swim. Overall, a terrible experience.
- 1VERY BAD STAYEnrique - 3 Sept 2024
I don't usually write reviews, but this time I will. The worst experience of my life. I only stayed one night, and if I had to stay another, I would have preferred to sleep on the street. They gave me room number 133, which should be used as a storage room rather than for accommodating a guest who is supposedly enjoying their vacation. The room is uninhabitable, very dark, has a small window overlooking the roof of the main entrance, and there are three air conditioning units installed next to the window that make a lot of noise and prevent you from sleeping even with the window closed. The air conditioning in the room has no remote; it is turned on or off with a switch at the entrance, so you can't regulate it, and therefore you have to keep turning it on and off. The cleanliness of the room is barely acceptable, with ants in the bathroom.
The best part is the food; I booked half board (dinner and breakfast), and the food, in my opinion, is terrible, with dirt everywhere, and at breakfast, a cockroach came in the fried egg, which we alerted the staff about, and they weren't very surprised. My wife requested a complaint form, and after filling it out, she preferred to tear it up to not waste any more time on this matter.
I WILL NOT RETURN EVEN IF INVITED, AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.
