What do guests think about this accommodation establishment?

The hotel has a good location, near the metro and train station. However, there are some significant issues. The breakfast is very basic, and the rooms are poorly maintained with some cleanliness concerns. The reception staff can be unfriendly, and there are communication difficulties with some not speaking English well. Luggage storage is limited, which can lead to a messy reception area. The rooms on the fourth floor can get uncomfortably hot, and the walls and doors are thin, allowing noise to easily pass through. Despite these drawbacks, the hotel is not the worst option available and its location is convenient. Overall, it needs improvements, especially in terms of facilities and customer service.

The room itself was fine, the headboard was torn bedspread had tears all over. Breakfast was mainly continental the toast was already done so the majority of time it was cold. Couldn't fault the hotel location for an event in Hyde Park

My opinion about this hotel Alexandra
    KONSTANTINOS - 11 Jun 2016

The location is very good. Personnel very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is not "brunch", of course, but it is quite O.K. Rooms very clean. Actually, the only negative point: very small rooms (at least the single ones).

Good value. Our only complaint related to the wash basin - the plug was adrift and the taps were loose. The only other observation concerns the location of the hotel which is in an area frequented by "ladies of the night." We were told that the police are making efforts to clean up the streets.

Like any hotel if you get other guests who are noisy there is nothing you do, luckily that was only for 1 night.Very hard to carry a large suitcase up the staircase as it is quite narrow. No lift of course so not suitable for elderly or disabled. I was staying in the annex part across the road from the main hotel- the main hotel did have a lift so if you need a lift it would be wise to check where your room is. .Very convenient to Paddington station ( trains and buses) which was why I chose this hotel. Room was fine for the price and the included breakfast of cereal, yoghurt, toast was ok as well. I did have a problem with water leaking through the ceiling from an upstairs shower and if it had not been able to be fixed they would have moved me to a better room.So the hotel manager handled this well. For central London ,this hotel was good value at about 55 pounds for a single room with bathroom.
