Hotel Best Jacaranda

We were a group of 12 people staying at best jacaranda for a week for all inclusive. I had my 50th birthday while staying there, I found a bottle of Cava, baloons and cards in my room. Very pleased with that.
We were worried about reading negative comments, but I think people don’t know what they want , for the price we paid our expectations were exceeding , loved it all, rooms clean, no cockroaches, staff very nice and helpful.
We loved everything, rooms are spacious, always available sunbeds, food was good, something new every night. We had amazing time there, only few little things was not quite right. one of 6 rooms had unpleasant smell. Cocktails for AI were not good and the entertainment wasn't long enough...
Overall I definitely would come back, lovely place, if you are thinking to book, don’t waist your time looking somewhere else!

Reception staff on arrival were excellent. On seeing I was unable to walk without a stick (post hip replacement), they changed the room we were originally booked into for one more easily accessible and although we were early were able to access the room. Though this may not have been possible in high season.

Facilities like shops, restaurants and the beach are close by for the able bodied though I managed to access them. Crossing the road from the hotel requires care though crossings are available some distance away.

We only booked the room with breakfast. Food was plentiful with a wide choice though I am biased preferring UK quality items.

Overall a very pleasant stay and would happily stay there again.

This is a good hotel in an excellent location. Well appointed rooms with really good showers. Everything you might need is close-by including the beach. Bus stop opposite if you should want to go further afield. AND the rooms have electric kettle with tea and coffee provided. I only found two negatives. (1)The bar did not stock tomato juice so I could not enjoy my usual Blood Mary! (2) This is supposed to be a 4* Hotel but when I asked for an iron I was directed to the 'Hire & Excursions' Desk and the minimum charge for an iron was €20! Even the UK Travelodge Hotels provide irons and ironing boards free-of-charge so I find this surprising in a so-called 4* establishment.

The hotel is very well positioned for mature sensible people and families looking to access all facilities on the island. It is also in a nice area.There is a general smoking area near to the canteen entrance hallway. The smell of smoke blows into the hotel which is unpleasant, and the position gives access to the pool area. This needs re siting in my opinion.Staff very helpful and friendly. Good activities aimed at getting you to relax and enjoy yourself. Nice people use the hotel (neither stuck up or rif raf).
